Myrto Theocharidou

Myrto Theocharidou is a Visual Artist, researcher, and a lifetime 'cultural explorer.'

Myrto was born in Cyprus and she holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts and Performing Arts in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, Italy. She continued her studies at Aalto University (Finland) from where she gained a Master's degree in Nordic Visual Studies and Art Education. Myrto is a PhD holder from the Cyprus University of Technology (POEM MSCA ITN H2020) and her research interests are memory practices, photography, visual arts and digital cultural heritage.
